  • 01 September 2016 | By Anje Rautenbach

On the 30th of August crowds pulled in to The Athenaeum at Belmont Terrace for the launch of the Share The Bay photography exhibition hosted by Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism in collaboration with Colours of You SA.

The launch of the month long exhibition kickstarted Tourism Month with hundreds of images showcasing and celebrating Nelson Mandela Bay through the lenses of the locals and the visions of visitors.

Councillor Andrew Whitfiled was the keynote speaker for the exhibition while Nelson Mandela Bay's marketing manager, Titus Chuene led the evening. Kat Egan from Umzobo Wam shared more about the local non-profit giving children a means to self-epxression through art and photography while Colours of You SA, local community of creatives, talked about the Instagram community in Port Elizabeth.
