Tag, you're it! Congratulations to the 10 Exhibitioners!

Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism, in collaboration with Colours of You SA, invited you to share the Bay through your lens on Instagram and Twitter under the hashtags #ShareTheBay and #ColoursofYouSA. The entries streamed in, social media was abuzz and the creativity of our people in the Bay had the judging panel on the edge of their seats.

This exhibition is not only be an opportunity for our photographers and Instagrammers in the Bay, but it also an opportunity for the public to give back to the people of the Bay. All the photographs will be up for sale and proceeds will go towards Umzobo Wam, a local non-profit initiative, based in township of Gqebera (Walmer), that supports South African children in sharing stories of township life through art and photography.

To all those who entered, we want to thank you for sharing your talent, passion and experiences in the Bay not only with us, but with the world. Be sure to visit the exhibition during the month of September to see if your photo made it to the exhibition as well, because besides our 10 exhibitioners, we will also put up hundreds of photos from the #ShareTheBay and #ColoursofYouSA hashtags. You are invited to "spot and tag" your photo at the Athenaeum, so bring your family and friends and enjoy the exhibition!
