I love Kas’lam Experience 

If you are looking for an event unique in Nelson Mandela Bay and the perfect way to end your Easter Weekend head over to the I love Kas’lam Experience. The I love Kas’lam Experience, a first for the Bay, will be held on the 27^th of  March and will celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit and talent of the people of the Bay with music, good food, sports and exhibitions at the Limba Hall and hope to promote township products and create networking opportunities.

Learn about our ocean’s Happy Feet at SAMREC 

SAMREC (South African Marine Rehabilitation and Education Centre) is situated in Cape Recife Nature Reserve. A visit to SAMREC, a non-profit organisation, is insightfully unforgettable. Every SAMREC volunteer is dedicated to rehabilitate marine birds and educate the public about the plight of the African penguin via their “please touch the displays” Discovery Room, informative talks and the hard work they do with the penguins daily. Minutes can quickly become hours when you sit and watch how all the permanent penguin residents jump, swim and wiggle their way around the water. SAMREC hosts a moonlight walk on the 24^th of March along the beach at Cape Recife.

Not so fun fact: Did you know that the African penguin might not be with us anymore by 2025?
